Merry Christmas

Hello friends,

It’s that time of year again…we want to wish you

a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas.

The first thing we all need to do is to give thanks

to Our Heavenly Father for sending his son, Jesus Christ,

to be born so we would have eternal life.

Now this is the beginning of what Christmas is all about.

Just want to say that we believe in one God, one Jesus Christ,

who is our Lord and Savior.

From our house to yours, we wish you and your family a Very

Merry Christmas, healthy and prosperous New Year.

We love you,

Thanks to all,

James & Trudy Suggs

Hi Friends,

It’s the day to say thanks for the things that you are thankful for.

The day for all of us to sit back, relax, spend some time with friends
and or family, and eat to much food.

Happy Thanksgiving !

Today means sitting down with people we love and giving thanks for all
the things we are thankful for. We love to eat a delicious meal, maybe
watch some football on TV and enjoy a few hours talking to friends and
family.

Everyone may not be so lucky!

That’s why today is so important to really take the time and give thanks
for the things in your life that you are truly grateful for.

I am thankful for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who died on the cross
and raised up in three days so we could believe in Him, ask him for
forgivenness of our sins and have eternal life.

I am thankful for my health.

I am thankful for my family, their health and all of them being saved by
our Lord and Savior.

I am thankful for being able to set down at the table and eat Thanksgiving
Dinner with them. With the exception of my son and oldest daughter who was
unable to be here for Thanksgiving Dinner.

I am thankful for the time that we spent together.

My son-in-law cooked the turkey in one of those deep fryer pots outside.
My wife and daughter cooked everything else in the house. It was the first
time that I had eaten a turkey that had been cooked in one of those deep
fryer cookers. Let me tell you it turned out real good and it only took
42 minutes to cook the turkey in this cooker. Everything that was
perpaired for Thanksgiving Dinner was very good. Everyone enjoyed sitting
down at the table, giving thanks, eating and catching up with family talk.

I hope everyone was able to enjoy their Thanksgiving day and enjoy their
family and friends.

We wish all of you a great Thanksgiving day and may God Bless and take
care of you.

James Suggs & Family,

Oh By The Way!

If you need a great hosting service like the one I use. You can find it
right here.

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served in our armed forces. I’d also like
to extend this thanks to all of the men and women serving in every branch of
U.S. Military – Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Nation Guard or Coast Guard.

These veterans are the ones that we really need to say thank you for serving
our country and providing the freedom that we have today. If it had not been
for your service we would not have the freedom that we have today here in the
United States Of America.

Even with all the problems that are facing us today, I think the United States
is the greatest country to live in.

It is great to have all the choices here in the USA which anyone can become
what they want to become if they work hard for what they want and don’t ever
give up on their dreams.

First we owe everything to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Next we owe our
FREEDOM to our Verterans who served in the armed forces of this great Nation.
We also owe our FREEDOM to those men and women who are now serving in our
armed forces to keep us safe.

Thanks again,
James Suggs (Veteran)

If you are interesting in a great hosting service that you want have to pay a
arm and a leg for.

Hi friends,

I received an email from a friend today and I thought that it was worth
sharing with everyone. This is very IMPORTANT! This is very educational and
informative information for DOG OWNERS. I did not know this about dogs. I
guess that you never get to old to learn.

Laurinda Morris, DVM

This week I had the first case in history of raisin toxicity ever seen at
MedVet. My patient was a 56-pound, 5 yr old male neutered lab mix that ate
half a canister of raisins sometime between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM on Tuesday.
He started with vomiting, diarrhea and shaking about 1 AM on Wednesday but
the owner didn’t call my emergency service until 7 AM.

I had heard somewhere about raisins AND grapes causing acute Renal failure
but hadn’t seen any formal paper on the subject. We had her bring the dog in
immediately. In the meantime, I called the ER service at MedVet,and the
doctor there was like me – had heard something about it, but… Anyway, we
contacted the ASPCA National Animal Poison Control Center and they said  to
give IV fluids at 1 & 1/2 times maintenance and watch the kidney values for
the next 48-72 hours.

The dog’s BUN (blood urea nitrogen level) was already at 32 (normal less than
27) and creatinine over 5 (1.9 is the high end of normal). Both are monitors
of kidney function in the bloodstream. We placed an IV catheter and started
the fluids. Rechecked the renal values at 5 PM and the BUN was over 40 and
creatinine over 7 with no urine production after a liter of fluids.  At that
point I felt the dog was in acute renal failure and sent him on to MedVet for
a urinary catheter to monitor urine output overnight as well as overnight
care.

He started vomiting again overnight at MedVet and his renal values continued
to increase daily. He produced urine when given lasix as a diuretic. He was on
3 different anti-vomiting medications and they still couldn’t control his
vomiting. Today his urine output decreased again, his BUN was over 120, his
creatinine was at 10, his phosphorus was very elevated and his blood pressure,
which had been staying around 150, skyrocketed to 220 … He continued to
vomit and the owners elected to Euthanize.

This is a very sad case – great dog, great owners who had no idea raisins
could be a toxin. Please alert everyone you know who has a dog of this
very serious risk.

Poison control said as few as 7 raisins or grapes could be toxic. Many people
I know give their dogs grapes or raisins as treats including our ex-handler’s.
Any exposure should give rise to immediate concern. Onions, chocolate, cocoa,
avocadoes and macadamia nuts  can be fatal, too.

Listen up, even if you don’t have a dog, you might have friends who do. This
is worth sharing with others.

Thanks for taking the time to read and share this with your friends.

Have a Blessed day,
James Suggs

Hi Friends,

Did you feel that?

I was sitting in my recliner around 1:52 p.m. ET in Hope Mills, N.C. and I

felt the chair shaking. I didn’t know what it was at first.

I got up and went outside to see if I could see anything that was going on. I

didn’t see anything out of the norm. It only lasted around 30 seconds. I came

back into the house and waited to see if news on the TV was going to have a

report about this earthquake or what ever it was.

My wife was at the beauty shop and she called me a few minuets later to ask me

did I feel the shaking? I told her that I felt it and had went outside to see

if there were anything that I could see that was going on. There was nothing

outside that was out of the normal. While I was on the phone with my wife the

TV program was interrupted and the News came on and started talking about an

5.8 Earthquake outside of Richmond, Virginia that was felt in Triangle, DC and

New York.

This was something very different for the people in Eastern United States. We

are located in Hope Mills, North Carolina and I know that this is the first

time that I have ever felt the shaking from an earthquake.

At this time as far as I know it, there was no reported damage from this

Earthquake in our area.

I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for keeping us safe

during this Earthquake. We were very Blessed that we didn’t have any damage

or anyone got hurt.

Thanks,

James Suggs

Hi Friends,
Listed below is some fun trivia education. I found it to be informative, but I don’t know where to believe all of it or not. This information was sent to me by a friend through an email. I thought that it was educational and informative so I decided to share it with you for a laugh. I hope that you like it as much as I did.

It’ll cost you an arm and a leg

In George Washington’s days, there were no cameras. One’s image was either sculpted or painted. Some paintings of George Washington showed him standing behind a desk with one arm behind his back while others showed both legs and both arms. Prices charged by painters were not based on how many people were to be painted, but by how many limbs were to be painted. Arms and legs are ‘limbs,’ therefore painting them would cost the buyer more. Hence the expression, ‘Okay, but it’ll cost you an arm and a leg.’ (Artists know hands and arms are more difficult to paint)

Here comes the Big Wig
As incredible as it sounds, men and women took baths only twice a year (May and October) Women kept their hair covered, while men shaved their heads (because of lice and bugs) and wore wigs.
Wealthy men could afford good wigs made from wool.. They couldn’t wash the wigs, so to clean them they would carve out a loaf of bread, put the wig in the shell, and bake it for 30 minutes. The heat would make the wig big and fluffy, hence the term ‘big wig..
‘ Today we often use the term ‘here comes the Big Wig’ because someone appears to be or is powerful and wealthy.

Chairman

In the late 1700′s, many houses consisted of a large room with only one chair. Commonly, a long wide board folded down from the wall, and was used for dining. The ‘head of the household’ always sat in the chair while everyone else ate sitting on the floor.
Occasionally a guest, who was usually a man, would be invited to sit in this chair during a meal. To sit in the chair meant you were important and in charge. They called the one sitting in the chair the ‘chair man.’ Today in business, we use the expression or title ‘Chairman’ or ‘Chairman of the Board.’

Losing face

Personal hygiene left much room for improvement. As a result, many women and men had developed acne scars by adulthood.
The women would spread bee’s wax over their facial skin to smooth out their complexions. When they were speaking to each other, if a woman began to stare at another woman’s face she was told, ‘mind your own bee’s wax.’ Should the woman smile, the wax would crack, hence the term ‘crack a smile’. In addition, when they sat too close to the fire, the wax would melt . . . Therefore, the expression ‘losing face.’

Straight laced

Ladies wore corsets, which would lace up in the front. A proper and dignified woman, as in ‘straight laced’. Wore a tightly tied lace.

Playing with a full deck

Common entertainment included playing cards. However, there was a tax levied when purchasing playing cards but only applicable to the ‘Ace of Spades..’ To avoid paying the tax, people would purchase 51 cards instead. Yet, since most games require 52 cards, these people were thought to be stupid or dumb because they weren’t ‘playing with a full deck.’
Gossip

Early politicians required feedback from the public to determine what the people considered important. Since there were no telephones, TV’s or radios, the politicians sent their assistants to local taverns, pubs, and bars. They were told to ‘go sip some Ale and listen to people’s conversations and political concerns. Many assistants were dispatched at different times. ‘You go sip here’ and ‘You go sip there.’ The two words ‘go sip’ were eventually combined when referring to the local opinion and, thus we have the term ‘gossip.’

Minding your ‘P’s and Q’s’

At local taverns, pubs, and bars, people drank from pint and
quart-sized containers. A bar
Maid’s job was to keep an eye on the customers and keep the drinks coming. She had to pay close attention and remember who was drinking in ‘pints’ and who was drinking in ‘quarts,’ hence the phrase ‘minding your ‘P’s and Q’s’.

One more: bet you didn’t know this!

Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey

In the heyday of sailing ships, all war ships and many freighters carried iron cannons.
Those cannons fired round iron cannon balls. It was necessary to keep a good supply near the cannon. However, how to prevent them from rolling about the deck?
The best storage method devised was a square-based pyramid with one ball on top, resting on four resting on nine, which rested on sixteen. Thus, a supply of 30 cannon balls could be stacked in a small area right next to the cannon. There was only one problem…how to prevent the bottom layer from sliding or rolling from under the others. The solution was a metal plate called a ‘Monkey’ with 16 round indentations. However, if this plate were made of iron, the iron balls would quickly rust to it. The solution
to the rusting problem was to make ‘Brass Monkeys.’ Few
landlubbers realize that brass contracts much more and much faster than iron when chilled. Consequently, when the temperature dropped too far, the brass indentations would shrink so much that the iron cannonballs would come right off the monkey; Thus, it was quite literally, ‘Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey.’ (All this time, you thought that was an improper expression, didn’t you.)

Again, I hope you enjoyed this Trivia fun and wish all of you a great day.

Please Watch Video…

Hi Friends,

I don’t know if you have watched this video of David Barton giving this tour
of the U.S. Capitol or not? This video was very educational and informative
for me.

After watching this video I found out a lot of things that I didn’t know.
Please watch this video and you make up your own mind if you learned
something new you didn’t know before.

First I would like to say I am thankful for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

You know that all of us living in America should be thankful for this great
country. Let’s not forget about our freedom! We have men and women that
are serving and fighting for our freedom every day.

Every day we need to stand behind our arm forces, believe in them and pray
for them.

This video really brought out a lot of things not taught in our schools. I
won’t bring this out in this post by mentioning it because I want
you to watch this video and get the full meaning of what David Barton is
saying. If you like this video please make a comment.

Have a Blessed day,
James Suggs

Oh by the way…
Are you ready for vacation? Check this out!

Hello Friends,

It is time to get the key information and educational update on a product that you will want to know more about.

 Protandim
Finally, a PROVEN way to s-l-o-w your aging process back to its age-20 pace!

I don’t recall ever seeing an MLM / wellness product with such a tremendous amount of absolutely credible, independent science behind it. And with a cost of just $40/month, Pref. Customer or Distributor ($50 retail), Protandim is affordable for the masses. And its effects are cumulative – the longer you continue, the more far reaching and amazing the wellness/appearance improvements.

It’s unfortunate we cannot put into writing the dozens of very specific testimonials we’re hearing from customers. But we can refer people to the growing list of independent studies — the most recent one published was done at Ohio State University, funded by the American Heart Association and the National Institutes of Health. The conclusion: Protandim PREVENTS the re-blockage of blood vessels following bypass or stent surgery, etc. (This has profound implications!)

Find all the published studies at www.PubMed.gov … just type in PROTANDIM in the search field at the top of the page, and they come right up. To find out if oxidative stress (free radicals) is suspected in ANY particular disease, in that same search field, type in OXIDATIVE STRESS AND (WHATEVER), and see what appears. All the studies on this government-sponsored website are highly credible, so if scientists ARE trying to connect those dots, you can feel confident the Protandim will be helpful.

The companion skin cream True Science (some of the same ingredients) is getting RAVE reviews related to lines, wrinkles, tone, collagen, scars and even SERIOUS skin/sun damage problems.

CREDIBILITY FACTORS

•3 patents, 2 more pending
• 7 independent (not biased!) studies published in prestigious, peer reviewed journals
• 20+ MORE independently funded studies ongoing NOW at major universities around     the world
• ONLY product scientifically proven to reduce oxidative stress (AGING) by 40-70%

As for marketing, our ABC Primetime video is probably the most powerful tool in the marketplace. Millions of advertising dollars could not BUY this kind of credibility. Our primary “job” as distributors is simply to GET PEOPLE TO WATCH THAT VIDEO!

While most MLM companies have very few actual customers (besides the distributors), almost 60% of the buyers on the books of LifeVantage are REAL customers! Protandim is a product they WANT– a must-have item! At the pace of growth now occurring, LifeVantage is expected to arrive at full momentum growth before the end of 2011. The TIMING could not be better for Distributors!

Have a Blessed day,

James Suggs
